My New Bass

My Bongo HS 4-string in Egyptian Smoke is here.

It's a December 2003. Dan said it was at the NAMM show.

How do you like it compared to your Sterling?

Well, feel wise, I'm not sure how different they are. They are both comfortable. The Bongo is obviously lighter weight than the Sterling. Sorry, can't give weights as I don't have a scale, but the Bongo does feel lighter. Sound wise, it is more versatile with just the back Humbucker, but add that Single Coil and it's amazing what all it can do. That 18V 4-band EQ will surely come in handy and will be a lot of fun. I really like it. The Sterling is staying for sure, but it's probably not going to be getting too much play time for a while.
