Wow....that is an amazing looking AXE!
I am sooo considering one!
I know it isn't a thing to discuss pricing but are they like WAY more expensive then the regular JP? I haven't been able to get pricing from my retailer as of yet.
As well.....can you choose whether you get the quilt top or the flame top or is it one of those....you get what you get things?

Street prices are taboo here but retail for an F-1 JP6 is $4000, I think. And ya it's one of those you get what you get things. I'm praying for quilt (when I order one :D).

Imagine what's going to happen when you actually receive the guitar! You might have trouble playing it! ;)

Hahaha - funny stuff - I guess I won't need the glorified foot rest that Petrucci has got :p I will just a mobile guitar resting shredding stand.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand.

I agree. The natural neck is a definate plus with the standard JP, but with the added tops, tone block, and push/pull pup tap of the BFR, it may be tolerable. ;) However, I really don't like the 12th fret inlay... I would prefer that to be an option... Just my opinion...

i think i might agree...although, wouldnt a push/pull put be a VERY easy upgrade if you went with a regular JP? I mean, I did that and had it professionally done on my RG for 25 dollars....

You will loosen up after a few months Greenwizard! I was terrified to adjust anything on my JP until I had it for about a year and started tinkering with it. After you find out how different adjustments affect the guitar, you won't be so hesitant to make any adjustments...

You're probably right...:D
But I'm gonna send it in soon to CS to fix something so until then I'm not messing with it. It's one of those, "I can't see how anyone could possibly make it better" things.
Oh well

Last week DT played in Zaragoza (Spain) and according to the people that went to see the festival, they were the best band (they played with Ozzy, Black Label Society, Megadeth, Slayer, Children of Bodom...).

Well, I found a review (in Spanish, sorry) and some BFR pr0n, here:
WWW.RAFABASA.COM - Portal en Castellano dedicado al HEAVY METAL

A couple shots (many others in the link above);

It also looks like the Bongo 6 was not on time for Zaragoza, but there was this:

Jesus Christ, I don't think I'd be able to choose!

The Blue is extremely unique, the red is purely gorgeous, the black is so metal looking and the Walnut Burst is pure class...
