And here's your correction...

The string factory is in Coachella, California... near Palm Springs. (not Palm Beach!)

oops, a momentary occurance of brain fart
the excitement overwhelmed me :D

Man, this thread hit 9 pages before I even got here this morning. It's probably not a trip I will be able to make this time around, but it sounds like a blast--wherever it ends up.

Wow...skip a day and miss everything important. ;)

I guess if the east coast is out of the mix now, I'd vote for either Palm Springs or SLO again. Plus, if it was at SLO, I'd get a chance to suck down another one of those Tri-Tip thingies! :D

Another vote for Nashville here. Lots of country musicians playing MM basses these days. Makes good business sense!
Or.. New Orleans

In a perfect world:

1) SLO
2) Palm Springs
3) Las Vegas

However, I may have trouble funding another trip this year so my budget list is:

1) Dallas
2) Nashville (or Memphis?)
3) New Orleans

One of my buddies has condo in PS area so that would work great for me. Only problem is the passport issue, or lack thereof. :(

I'm down for wherever BP wants to host. I'd love to see the string factory- that would be waaay cool.

Also I like the idea of an east coast/north venue (selfishly), but I realize shipping stuff out there is a hassle and I fully appreciate the amount of work that's going to go into this event.

Love the idea of a golf tourney. Nothing like driving those little carts around when you're loaded ;)

Any place near an EBMM factory would be perfect. I don't golf so I'm yelling FORE right now to warn you all.

Just pick a date, and I'll be there.

SLO? would be convenient, since my folks only live 40 minutes away...oh yeah, visit the folks...thats right. Coachella would be easy too.
Chicago? never been there, but I have always wanted to go.
Nashville? been there, played it, great place!

I just don't wanna miss another one.
