I guess your asking if it would be appropriate and I do think so. I wouldn't be so much for a pink pass or bright orange, anyways I play my Red sparkle bass at church and to be honest, once you get about 15 feet away I can't really see the sparkles... The stage light makes them come out, but your probably going to be the only person seeing them,

One reason I love my sparkle red stingray is because within 15 feet it looks well funky sparley and after that it looks like a classic 30th.

Dargie at church

Andy Stanley from Northpoint Church in Ga. came up to me and commented on my Dargie Bongo 5 last sunday and loved the color I don't know if he noticed the martini inlays but even if he did, it wouldn't be a big deal, he thought the bass looked great.
Our lighting director loves the way it looks under the lights. so i would imagine a
BD would look fabulous.
of course the deal breaker would be a pentagram on the pickguard.

Too flashy for church? I say no. I played it at church. And I will again. :)

Yeah, but if they don't mind cross-dressers at your church, what could they say about the blue dawn...I think your sister wants her shirt back.

A good friend of mine in Chicago is European...he's always catching flak for his clothing.

I just ordered a radiance red JP, and church is the only place I play now. If that's not too flashy I don't think a BD would be.
