I think you have a fine looking guitar there................but ultimately it's your preference. I am extremely happy with the way mine looks and plays and if I had the money, I would buy another GC exclusive Luke but in quilt for the matching pair!

IN five years someone will post this and Marty will be in the corner stuck in a fetal posititon sucking his thumb with the worst case of sellers remorse on record.

Been there, done that, lucky for me I got it back. :)

Thats the one I played in MSP. saw and played it for an hour. That guitar was for REAL in my book. And as is BP says. I am/was reluctant to buy one as a GC transfer guitar, because it's still an unknown.
I saw that guitar in person and I was monster impressed; especially with the top.

I'm sure those "spots" that you mentioned are my petrified drool on the top.

That must be the Home Depot version. I'm glad my Dargie is not that colour!

Please dont take this wrong but that top is as good as it gets. This is why I hate the whole graded top thing. It is subjective. But I paid a fortune for that top and I wouldnt kick it out of the sack.

From a builders standpoint it is as near perfect as I have EVER seen. The angle and bookmatiching is fabulous. I dont know that I can make you happy if this one doesnt.

Adamrogo wasnt happy with his either and I thought his was fabulous too. He didnt like his bookmatching and it was as good as you can do....his lined up perfect in the center and it is wood that has been sawed.

I you look at this "other guitar" you'll see the lines really don't match -

EBmm does it right - which is why all my "other guitars" are in the process of being sold!

I wasn't to blown away with the BFR's at concept but now they're appearing, I'm very keen to get my hands on one with a top even half as good as yours, If you wanna sell it PLEASE PM ME!

USA, for now, but a Brit at heart
Update:

First,I want to thank everyone for their input so far. Both those who were supportive and "touchy-feely" and those kicking me in the butt as well.

The more time I get with this guitar, the more I am getting to like its looks. I guess its like when you meet a girl with a great personality and whos a great gal , she gets more and more beautiful as time goes on. Course the reverse is true also.

I'm thinking "tiger stripes".
