So I just purchased the most beautiful Sterling HH (you can see photos in another thread here). However, the neck H seems to be too close to the neck when playing slap and pop! I have small hands, but it's still hard to fluidly and repeatedly pop the D & G strings because the neck H gets in the way of my fingers. I've lowered the pickup and raised the action and the problem remains. I noticed that on the Stingray HH, there's more room between the neck H and the neck (likely due to the larger body). Has anyone else had this problem with the Sterling? It seems that the Sterling H/S is more popular on these boards. Is this the reason? I can still exchange mine for an H/S. (I don't want a single H because I like to rest my thumb on the neck PU.)

Also, if anyone has a photo of a Sterling or Stingray in Cherryburst/maple fingerboard/tort PG... I'd love to see it!
