Alana: Oh, George Clinton? Yeah, I jammed with him. No, it wasn't on Dave Letterman, fool, that was a different gig.

Go on with your bad self, Alana.

Dayum that's awesome! They also got Jack on drums, though it claims he's swedish?

I think it's just faux bios just for fun.

They get a lot of high profile gigs around here and they put on a great show.

The bass appears to be a Sterling (honeyburst?) with a customized and jeweled top.

So tell us Miss Funk (I can call you Miss Funk, can't I?), how do you go about borrowing/given a bass from Randy Jackson? And is the green sparkle StingRay5 yours? Tell us the story!!

Funny enough, not all that long ago I was reading through a "bring back the sparkles" thread and BP had mentioned that sparkles and green basses just don't sell. You have both in one!

In 2006 I toured with Van Hunt. Van Hunt's manager is Randy Jackson. When I first joined the band, Van didn't like the green bass (which is my pride and joy) because it was obviously new and didn't have that particular vintage sound/look that Van liked. At the beginning of the tour, his manager helped out and lent me two basses to play on tour. One was the Bongo and one was a Fender Jazz. I might have been slightly disappointed when Van didn't like the look of my Stingray, but that disappointment quickly subsided when Randy Jackson hooked me up with two gorgeous basses to use instead!

Evidently my taste is bass colors isn't shared by many ;)
