I love 'em too.

I often loan mine out to my bassist for gigs. We're pretty much all EBMM at this point. :)

I had an old friend over for a little jam session about a month ago. He plays bass and guitar. I let him play all my MM's -- including the Dargie Bongo. He really liked the weight and feel of the Bongo. Then I plugged it in and went through the EQ with him, and he was blown away!

He's got a handful of somewhat crappy instruments. I told him to sell a few and buy a MM instrument. After trying my JP, Y2D and Bongo I'm sure he's sufficiently infected. ;)

Sterling, thankyou for your persistence, and for swimming against the stream!
The Bongo is, simply put, home.
And once upon a time Jack got to thinning his herd, for which I am also greateful. Envy indeed!

Have you ever seen this picture of your bass?

No, but I like it, when was that taken?

I am, however, wondering why you are wearing a yellow shirt, or more to the point, why Mr Photographer didn't move out of the reflection? :p
Reminds me of that guy who photographed his bass without earing any clothes, and was clearly visible in the refcection of one of the chrome knobs :D

Doesn't everyone strip down nude to take pictures of their basses?
