Rob, I just got the news from Customer Service (Thanks Nathan!), the LE2008 Silos will come with GOLD knobs!!!!! That's gonna be cool man! Waiting for the retail price from my local dealer now before I place my order...
You think I should go SSS? or HSS?

Wow, they look great. The Luke would great in the LE...the EMG pickups have gold logos, so it would match. GAS!!!!

Did customer service say when we may see a Silo LE08 picture? Man, I usually prefer a rosewood FB and matching HS, but that maple FB and nat. HS on the silo bass look fantastic. A very cool combo of colors. The GAS is killing me!!!!!

It'll probably have black knobs, like the 06 LE, it looks great with gold screws etc, pics below! I keep thinking i'll change the pickguard on my Dargie Silo Spec and Le 06 Silo Spec, but black just seems to suit, so i'm guessing i'll feel the same when the 08 comes in. I really want a white silo spec too!
Rob. Fire a tortoise shell guard on that and it will look awesome!!!

i think with the LE08 colour, you need to go maple as the guitar could end up looking too dark!!! that smoking black silo LE06 above works amazingly well mind you. but i think i'd have to opt for the silo with maple neck and matching header.

gotta be maple neck on the LE 08. Mr B there is no chance i would ever put a tort guard on my LE 06, FUGLY to the max.

Rob, you going to pull the trigger on an 08 LE Silo -- I saw your other thread trying to get folks to convince you to get a Silo. Or do you have your sights set on that BFR AL?

i have 4 tort pickguards lying around that ive taken off guitars that came with them, i just couldnt take the tort ugliness!! I think year is abalone and moonstone for me!

thats funny, ive been thinking how one earth they could do gold knobs, maybe if they were the knobs you'd find on piezo balls, oh well black will do nicely all the same.

I'm almost there... Just that my local dealer is now telling me that the Silo Spec isn't available in LE08... WTF????!?!?!?!?!?!?
I'm in the midst of getting CS to smack them on their heads...
