I got done with work a little bit early today. Since I was in San Jose,Ca I decided to stop by the Guitar Center in Santa Clara. There it was a blue Sterling 5 rosewood with HS configuration. That thing sounds great. It has its own vibe as far as tone goes(not a SR5 clone). With the rear H only it has a thick focused tone. Then I flipped the pickup selector to the middle HS position. The sound got huge with bottom end and some top end zing. Then there are the other settings too. Each has its own vibe. All very usable for different music styles. I now understand why Sterling 5 owners are going crazy for these basses. EBMM definitely has done it again. I was thinking of getting a SR5 down the line. Now I'm not too sure anymore.
Then my wife textd me telling me the check engine light was on in her car. So its safe to say I won't be buying one for awhile.
