Hi, all!

Just a quick question - is an SSS Silhouette Special (or, even better, Silhouette) planned to be offered as a BFR in the near future?

I know it has been asked quite a few times already.

The reason for asking is that I absolutely dig both of my 20-th Silos and would love to be able to add a SSS tremolo and piezo equipped BFR to it. The way it is now, the only SSS BFR that has a trem and a piezo is the Albert Lee - an absolutely stunning instrument, and I would start to look for it, if there will be no silhouette SSS BFRs.

So maybe someone with an insight on time schedules of the BFR production-line will shed some light on this crucial issue and, by doing this, will lead many a waiting knucklehead, me included, out of the dark:D

Thanks a lot!!!

Here's one more vote for a Silo with a tone block.

Whitestrat, we should be pretty much the twin brothers in terms of guitar preferences then! (I still envy You for Your piezo 20th, though:)))))).

I'm sure it'll be here in due time.
They're obviously working their asses off producing all kinds of new goodies for us.
I dare not ask for a thing. I'm just enjoying sitting back and watching the tide bring it all in. :)

I don't mean to unnerve anyone with this question - I only do ask because I want to know if the BFR silhouette is the first in the priority line right now (if there is such a thing) and if there will be a sss model with a piezo at all. Hope this info is not classified or something.

If nothing is in works it could be a loooooooooong wait. Nevertheless, I know exactly it will be an AMAZINGLY WONDERFUL strat-KILLER guitar once it's out.

Personally I think a solid-color silo spec is good enough. It will really be a challenge for EBMM to balance the figuring and the size of the pickguard, considering that the body surface is quite small for a silo spec. Poppa brought up something similar for the production of the very first AL BFRs. Really looking forward to what EBMM can do, if a BFR Silo Spec is indeed in the planning..

Jim, I was super-tempted to go order this exactly... Most likely in Radience Red... and a Pearloid Guard... So I can go be a Sultan Of Swing!:D

This is so similar to the Fiesta Red colour fom Fender... I wonder what it'll be called. If they make this a metallic colour I'll cry...

VERy much looking forward to a BFR silo Special, hopefully one day. It doesnt get much love it seems, funky one off's and special guitars never seem to involve the Silo Special, is it the ugly ducking of the EMM lineup?
Not at all an ugly duckling, looks just great as it is & doesn't need a flame maple top, fancy inlays or any other over-the-topness.
Just like the Strat is a beautiful guitar design and has never looked good when over pimped
