A 3 way tie between a '59 Gibson Melodymaker ($75 in 1974), a '59 Fender Telecaster ($200 in 1973) and a '59 Fender hardtail Stratocaster ($1300 in 1987). Both the Fenders were refinished natural..

Had a mid 40's Gretsch New Yorker, sold it back to the family of the person I bought it from after he passed away. Seemed like the right thing to do.

My oldest guitar was a 1979 Strat in a refinished sunburst. I sold it soon after I got my Morse 8 years ago.

The oldest guitar I have now is my silhouette (look down to the sig:))
