ok, so im trying to adjust the action, i want the action a lil lower so i put a screw driver in the wheel and pulled up toward my head, holding the bass as if i were to play it...is this the right direction?

you're on the right track now.

as long as the adjustments are small you'll be fine. you'll notice the difference and realize pretty quick if youre turning it the worng direction

well the neck looks nice, mostly straight with a little bit of relief, but the action is still a bit to high from where i like it, maybe ill lower the saddles a lil. its at aprox. 3/32" but i want it at 2/32" on the E. also is it normal for the B string action to be a bit higher?

Yes, just remember to go easy and a little adjustment goes a long way.

1/4 turn at most!

Just found the answer:
Q: do I need to loosen all of the strings before making a neck relief adjustment?
A: You should make all adjustments with the strings where you would normally play them. Do not loosen the strings to adjust the truss rod.

Rightie tightie leftie loosie.
Learned that one the hard way with a 3" salt water line down in the bowels of the ship on an otherwise dull night at sea.
"Tightie" in this case gets the action lower. Theoretically.

Good lesson tho, never stripped out any bolts in the old MGB, nor have I gooned up my neck relief.
