Timmons is an amazing player and an even nicer guy. Truly a class act and would never say a bad thing about anyone. I would love to see him over at EB.
No, I've seen one, too.

Well yeh Alz just look at Slash's signature Les Paul, it is roughly 7k like the Jimmy Page LP.
he's been approached already. How about guthrie govan? He is an awesome player and person
he's been approached already.
Well, it's not. Not unless you're talking about the VOS. I bought a Slash LP Goldtop. Simply because I had to have one. I never play it. The upped frets makes my hand cramp up something fierce. And the price? it's cheaper than my 20ths.
I think what is needed is for EBMM to have greater success with their NON-signature models. Everyone who plays a non siggy model usually plays the bass. The guitars are severly underlooked. The Silo Spec, the Silhouette and the Axis are only 3 lines, but these are what most companies rely on. There aren't enough variations of these models, but I think the BFRs are a good way to raise the company profile to a more high-end level.
If only the guitars were as in-demand as the basses.![]()
I remember Beth saying they approached him and he politely said no. Do a search on these forums you should be able to find it in more detail. Guthrie is a great playerIf you don't mind me asking, what happened?
Whitestrat, what prompted you to assert that there aren't enough variation of these models? I'm curious to know to which corners of guitarists needs you were referring that are not covered by EBMM's current arsenal.
What options would you like to see? Perhaps a country guitar with a different pickup arrangement than the AL? 13-pin synth access?
