Serial Numbers : What is the production date of my guitar?

I have a second hand ASS that I've recently spent time with scrubbing the neck down and oiling and waxing...

I'd be grateful if you could put a DOB on it. Thanks in advance!

Actually, the finish is Vintage Sunburst on this guitar. It was completed on Jan 8, 2002 and was originally sold to Imperial Guitar & Sound in Newburgh, NY.

LN, your Axis SuperSport with tremolo and a Trans Blue finish was completed on Sept 20 2001 and was originally shipped to Japan.

Glad you're giving it some needed care ...

Actually, the finish is Vintage Sunburst on this guitar. It was completed on Jan 8, 2002 and was originally sold to Imperial Guitar & Sound in Newburgh, NY.

There is another Albert Lee hardtail in da house now. It is serial number G19684.
Please tell me about this Al. I believe it is a trans teal, but could be mistaken. Maybe it's trans blue.

Jim, it is Trans Blue (The Albert isn't available in the Trans Teal) - your guitar was built on 4/24/02.

sp, not too many made without a scratchplate for sure, and maybe a few hundred SSS versions of the Sport overall. Your recent acquisition, according to our records: was bullt on March 3 1998, has a Vintage Sunburst finish, tremolo, rosewood board, and was shipped to Germany.

Thats the one for sale on E Bay, right?Its ash like mine, but with a rosewood neck instead of maple.MinesDOB is 20/5/90.5Stringer said 40 were made.20 sent to the U.K.I have an old Guitar mag from 1989 with a review of one of these Silos.I dont know if I can upload it because of copyright/forum rules.They did a bass version too.I didnt think i'd see one again so soon.
