Abalone will look good on graphite pearl as does Moonstone.

I think I have a Sterling 4 abalone downstairs - I'll look for it. If I find it I'll lay it on mine when it gets here and take a pic.

Arin suggested vintage pearl up top - I wonder how the warmth would work against Ghraphite Pearl? White Ice does work.

I'm even toying with the idea of an aftermarket black or silver diamond tread guard.

ya if it had a maple FB id go with a black PG. it sounds really odd but i tend not to play my "dark" looking instruments. have no idea why but its something ive noticed.

When I took that photo of the SR5 with the foam under the bridge. Guess who signed it on the back side?

Made that bass so special it don't get played much any more.

And nobody ever slagged it for looks.

It was really hard to not pull the trigger on the deal whne I saw the prices. But I am have to remember I am not a 5-string guy. Or a fretless guy either, for that matter.
