Well I guess that the TU2 has done a great job over the years - but there's new kids on the block now and although the Boss would be accurate enough for me, it's specifications show that it is less accurate than the Korg Pitchblack. Not that I'm looking to offend TU2 owners.

If and when I replace my TU2 it will be with one of these:

More accurate than the peterson (.02 cents +/-) , made in america, decently priced, and that tracking speaks for itself.

That is wild how it detects pitch so quickly. Thanks Shane!
Edit: I just looked at their site. They aren't but $129. Anybody here got one?

I've sent Korg CS a query as the instructions are a bit hazy ( I want to programme an alt tuning DGCGCD for when I play the "Rain Song").

I've had a confirmation of my request and awaiting their reply.

The KORG Pitchblack plus is a great tuner - easy to read and fits perfectly (read as Very snugly) in an EB case.

Hi guys!
I did a gig a few days ago with my Boss TU-2, in the afternoon, with sunlight straight on the stage. I couldn't see the LED's at all! I have been planning to swap it for a Pitchblack, and I am wondering if I would have the same problem on that you think?

Anyone else had this problem?
