The Casey Lee Ball Bongo!

I was wondering when that would pop up.

For those of you who don't know, this bass is a one-of-a-kind made to be auctioned off in benefit of BP's charity, the Casey Lee Ball Foundation. The auction took place IIRC about a year and a half ago.

AFAIK there are only three Bongos out there made of alternate woods (not counting prototypes).

- The Open House mahogany Bongo (same finish later used on the 30th)
- Dave LaRue's mahogany Bongo

and this one.

So, Mr. Nut...how's the weight on that thing? I held the Open House Bongo at the Desert Bash in 07 and it is a TANK.

No this one is pretty light, and rings forever, great bass all around.

The color is Cabernet pearl even though it looks like red fading to black. My son took the pic and the lighting wasn't the greatest but the bass is really Bad A$$!! Thanks again Brandt
