No it is not a virus link of some sort and it's all officially released by Roadrunner (DT's label). The file is of good audio quality.

I'm still getting used to the track but I'll probably like it in a few days time

I am currently downloading the song ... but it seems that I am not alone because it is very slow !!! (the file has a size of 19.7 MB).
But the wait increases the pleasure !

I dunno...This song didn't do it for me. Call me crazy, but it had a bit of Metallica smell to it.
IMO of course.
I hope it grows on me

I don't know...I like the intro and the chorus...but the rest leaves me cold. Doesn't mean I'm not excited for the new album! I can't wait! I've got my ticket for one of the shows already!

Perhaps Mr. Petrucci himself can sign my new Emerald BFR JP7 with RW neck that I am gonna pick up tonight.....Man I am dying here...still at work.... (hijack complete...back on topic )

This track totally blows me away.

It's unmistakably DT, yet has that fresh contemporary edge they consistently bring to each recording. That undeniable classical sensibility is evident, with recurring themes and twists aplenty.

What a hook in that chorus! Haunting and memorable. Very emotional. James is on fire!

Rad, I know you hate Dream Theater, and that's cool, but you did answer the Coldplay/satriani/cat stevens thread without saying "doesn't this belong in the General Music Discussion." At least dream theater has 2 EBMM endorsers, non of those guys do.
