Serial Numbers : What is the production date of my guitar?

a friend of mine just got himself a nice Silhouette in all-black (though I'm still convinced that life's just too short to play black guitars... ).
The serial no. is 94159.

Can you tell me when this fantastic player was built ?

Hey Axel, hope all is well ... your friend's Silhouette was built on 8/31/1993 and was originally shipped to our German distributor, Musik Meyer.

OK - this Steve Morse Y2D has the Upgraded Top option, back when we were still doing that. It is showing as a De-Purple Burst Flame Top. built 2/23/07.
