Those are 2 extremely killer JP's! Desert Gold is such an awesome color. I had a Bongo 5 in that color and man do I miss it.

Did you buy that guitar new or used?
He bought it used, it was mine, I sold it and he bought it from some else further on down the line. Then Pete put the rosewood neck on it.
I truly miss that guitar. The original neck had been sealed at the factory.

1990 EBMM Silhouette, former owner swaped the bridge PU for a Seymour Duncan PGP.
Question: this neck feels like very lightly finished, is early EBMM neck finished or former user DIYed it or it's factory sealed?

Thanks! About that, I do prefer the lightly finished neck, unfinished necks do feel great but get hideious when the dirt got into wood grain. I hope EBMM could give both finished and unfinished options!Going by the fact you have a 6 bolt Silo, I would say the neck finish is factory.
