Erin if you have full access to your account withdraw all the money to your bank account and / or phone a paypal customer service person to honestly explain the situation and if they still don't believe you email them the url of this very thread!! lol

cheers

thats what i have done... I am still waiting on The Refund from Bass Central to Post, and the money from Fingbeagles... I don't want to make any waves until then... I just hope the refund from Beaver posts soon... I emailed them all of this information already... They are just taking their time i guess.

This is about BP and EP!

Thanks Beaver!

i should have said "with Sterling's, Erin's, and Beaver's permission."

You're a big part of the story as well. sorry about that.

Thanx for the comment, but, once again, this is All about Erin and Sterling.

However, we do wish you luck on the publicity endeavor. Great story and great lessons to be learned from it! :D

Erin, my employee/asst. manager, Grasshopper, initiated this refund on 8/13/09 and Mike (store manager) just Now double-checked, so it should be there by now....

PLEASE lemme know if you don't show it back in your account by tomorrow!
Sorry for the delay, but it sometimes takes 3-4 business days to actually post.

this is about Beaver and all at Bass Central....quality people with big hearts

Amen, Beavers been great, as well as all the knucleheads have, love it that we are a family of knuckleheads, a somewhat dysfunctional family but family none the less.

Erin I had the same thing happen with my paypal account, they some how pinged it back to my origianl post about raffling the SUB to raise money and considered it gambling, I called them and they are supposed to clear the matter up, does not keep you from transferring money, I am going to send you a PM about the SUB donations.

Killer job my friends:)

its fine but I think that you really should talk to your newspaper either in new jersey or pittsburgh it could get picked up by the ap and get more potential donations that gw

I only say this is ok because of the potential of gaing more dough....I really dont do this stuff for publicity honest

BP, I don't think you need the publicity, but I'm certain it would be great for others to be aware of your generosity(along with everyone else involved), and empathy towards your fellow man. Brian Williams on NBC's nightly news always does a story which discusses the good that some do for others, especially during these tough economic times. Not only that- it brings to light what many of us are already aware of, and that is that the health industry has got some major issues, which happens to be the hot topic of debate at the moment.

I didn't mean to stir things up, I was just looking for another way to help Erin get some more money. I just thought this act of gerenosity was noteworthy and people should hear about it. But in typical fashion, not just here, things get all dramatic like an episode of the View.

And with that, I just sent another $122.00 to Erin. Which brings our total up to;

$5724.94
+ 750.00 for the Fingbeagles Sub auction
+1950.00 for the money back from Beaver Felton
________

8424.94

Hey Lefty, Did you ever get anything from me on Paypal...just wondering...I got the email saying something was sent, but I wasn't sure if you saw it automatically.

Hi Erin and all,

I work at the same place as Erin's dad, which is how I heard about this. I decided to make a somewhat OT post on the largest musician/music-related forum there is (aka HC) about your situation and how Ernie Ball and the forum members are helping out. I figured it might help increase the donations a bit. I wish you the best! And I like how your band sounds. They're rather uplifting sounding compared to much of today's music.

I'm not a fan of EB's strings, but I do have a bottle of EB Guitar Polish and Polishing Cloth I bought on the day I bought my first guitar in 2000. Even after 9+ years of use, the bottle is still half full and the cloth has a lot more use left in it. Not a bad $5 investment at all. Hearing this story makes me want to take another look at EB's guitars.

Well BP perhaps you should start selling your strings in different flavours that way they might appeal to more people, just like those flavoured condoms, and those which glows in the dark... ok ok sorry I'll get my coat...

Hi... I'm not really sure who this is as i haven't met anyone my dad works with since he moved to NC... but thanks for the kind words. You'll find the answers to any questions you may have about ernie ball products here on this forum. I really can't say enough good things about the people here, taking their time and money and helping me out in my time of need. And to think a week ago all i wanted to do was sell a couple of guitars...

Anyway, Welcome to the forum.

And thanks again everyone.

Oops! That was a bit of a faux pas on my part. My apologies. I thought it was more like "I don't like these appetizers, but these other ones are great! And you really get your money's worth." It's been several years since I tried EB strings. Maybe I'd like a certain flavor of them now. And I like what you're doing here, too.

Erin: Everyone stepping up to help you is quite inspiring. The station's news ought to do a story about this. Or maybe Oprah! :D I'm Andrew. It's nice to meet you. I work in a different department than your dad, but I see him very frequently. He figured since I play guitar I would enjoy hearing about this. He just told me about all of this yesterday.

Thanks for the interest Andrew.. I think you will find the people here are second to none... I'm not too interested in news coverage... And especially not Oprah.. But whatever happens happens i guess..
