Diehard San Jose Sharks fan, I for sure spend more time on the hockey forum then here, I know if their prospects shoots left or right haha...also a gym guy like the op, I go to the gym at least once if not twice a day, plus the hockey rink sometimes as well.

Cars, College, WoW

I remember Jack saying he was a mod on NASIOC.

That's wild, I was a member for 7 years before I sold my scooby. I miss it, and AutoX!!

I'm also a WoW junkie, along with other RPGs and similar nerdy pursuits (I'd say I waa the biggest Star Wars fan on the forum, but sadly I think Radrock beats me by a mile on that one).

Other than that I love to cook and to tinker with my guitar gear. I've even gotten so good at it that sometimes it still makes sound when I'm done!

Being a true canuck I played hockey for 9 years until I was 15, but I've since stopped and have been trying to get into other physical activities to keep fit. There's other stuff too I guess, but that's the most important stuff. It's cool seeing what everyone likes to do though, gives us more of a reason to be a community! :D
Do you have a fav NHL team?(I hate all Canadian teams but the Flames heh)
you should get back in to playing man...when I lived in Cali I played extremely competitive hockey and when I moved up here guitar took over as my passion, but not playing hockey deffinatly lead to some not so healthy things and now that im playing again it just feels so right

Flying is my big passion.

Started out soaring a few years ago but too busy for that now mostly, also love reading about aviation, mostly military stuff like ww2 and vietnam aviators and such.

And am lucky enough to be making it my "job" in the Air Force.

Hey Tomcat,

Just better than a beginner on my JP6 but have over 2000 hours in gliders, mostly XC and ~600 in SEL keeping instrument current. Ventus C is my current ride. Do lots of XC in wave. Great fun. Been a huge SM fan for over 25 yrs.

I've got a big, rare, red, fast, loud 5.8L V8 Ford I've had since I was 19.
It's lived under a cover for much of the last 10 years, but have been getting it out to annoy the neighbours recently.
Currently speccing it up for some track work.

I used to play Aussie Footy, but popped a knee.
Since then, I just smash myself with some serious cycling - keeps me fit and really helps blow out the stresses of running my business.

Here's my latest ride - an exotic concoction of hi-modulus carbon fibre and ultra light-weight componentry:

and me winning on it a couple of weeks ago :rolleyes:

Hey Dizzy,
after looking at those pics again, I noticed that it must be painful to ride without a seat.

Yup, by your face I would say so!!! Well, at least you have the lefties cheering you on, or protesting, not sure which one.

Nice dude! I haven't flown a Ventus but I know they're cool :) I only started in 2004 and then got real busy when I joined the Air Force in 2006, so only have about 350 flights and 130 hours or so haha.

I've trained on ASK-21 and ASK-23 then flown LS-8 and Duo Discus mostly.

Where do you fly out of? I am with the Amsterdamsche Club voor Zweefvligeen from Holland (We won the international Online Contest this year).
