New to the forum, and I searched before I posted this, but didn't really find an answer.
For you BFG JP7 owners, how is the low B?
A little backstory, I had a RG1527 that the low B was pretty much not there. No volume, no real depth on any of the notes (B - E). I changed pickups, from stock to Tone Zone 7, to D Sonic 7, to finally Blaze's. Nothing helped.
I have a baritone and I can get a nice low B through my rig with it, so I hope I just had a bad 7-string. For reference, I either go through a Mark IV or a Diezel Einstein and it isn't that Korn stuff that I play. I just like have a low D or C when I need one.
Anyways, I am strongly considering a BFR JP7 and just don't want to be disappointed if the notes on the low B are average.
Thanks
