Hey Smelly,

Serious question for you. When do you think you will have your 3-4 models picked out? I really want to get my order in for a HH AL but I want to see what you knuckleheads scheme up.

Thanks buddy, :)

And they said you guys couldn't agree on anything!!!

Larry - this is getting progress faster than anticipated, i hope to have a who's in list within 7 days.

reminder that BP said it's something current and this is a limited cosmetic change to something existing plus with 50 of us to pay it needs to be something that we can all afford.

browndog - your head of previews -good work!!!- how do you do it so quickly! - can you knock up - 1 a hh al in lemon sparkle 1 hh al in blue sparkle and 1 in pink sparkle
all with rosewood please.... once we've got the pics we'll put a poll up the winning colour is the one then i need names and commitment!!!

thanks guys

What are you guys doing? You have a company that would entertain this and then you are telling them that what they say they wont make is easy to do and proceed to talk of lrdering it. There will be no HSS albert lee Got it?...Be careful or I wont do it at all.

Smelly, its hard to represent a sparkle in the mock ups without having a sample to clone. I searched the web for sparkle patterns but not much was found. I did my best with what I had to work from.

The headstock designs are on page 9.

Very cool, Jeff. I think the yellow is the winner. Looks good with the rosewood neck.

I'm just speculating here but I really think you guys need to focus on creating a guitar that appeals to a wider variety of players. Now don't get me wrong I love sparkle colors. I also think we are underestimating how hard it will be to get 50 people to agree on the EXACT same specs of the guitar, let alone get them to put up the cash when it comes time to order. I'm just trying to be realistic as well as offer a little bit constructive criticism :)

Same thing I've been saying all along as well as other people, but it seems to go unnoticed. I don't see 50 people shelling out money for a pink sparkle AL.

i know there are some big fans of the al here and i like it myself but i dont think we need another variation even if its just colour. we have just had the hh al and its fantastic looking as it is and the colour choices are fantastic.

plus i agree with larrys coment above about making something that appeals to enough people. personally a sparkle hh al especially in the colours suggested would look horrible to me. just my 2 cents . but ill wait to see what happens with the poll results etc. if its something i like then ill order one.

on another note and i dont know if people like the idea aswell. or wether its possible. with out re-tooling etc. is to maybe have a kuncklehead inlay or something just to symbolise the limited run etc.
