....or in Jack's case, another one in this particular pickup congfiguration.

Oh, I'm interested, never doubt that....but it was all I could do to swing the one I have. A single H Big Al fiver is DEFINITELY on my list, but that list is probably going to turn dingy yellow before I can pull it off.

BP himself said that it's the best sounding single H yet. Tomorrow should be interesting...

....and I trust him! THAT is one of the things that is really driving me to get a Big Al...The fact that he loves the 4 makes me want a 4 even more too! I need a 5 but I have a couple now so I got that covered. I could play a 4 on about 75% of the things I play so why not? I am following your every post with great anticipation...you just may push me over the edge! I even like the color you chose and have my GC guy trying to find me a BA 4 in that color at or around the 9 lb mark...I am praying for one under 9.5 lbs though as I hear these are a bit on the heavy side...I got lucky enough to find my 9.1 lb SR5 so I figure it is possible at least!

Peace,

T

Is it there yet?

I just now used the tracking number and it's on the truck for delivery. If it gets here before Mrs.sitonmybass gets home from work (she's a teacher) I will wait until she arrives home before opening the case so that we can see it together for the first time. That's just how we "rock" at the sitonmybass household.

I just looked at the switching on the Big Al and the other specs.
It's perfect...active or passive, simple push buttons for p/u selection, mahogany body, optional painted headstock, ability to go series/parallel on the 1H model.
It's exactly what I need.
And it looks funky too!
Now if I could only get one in one of the classic colors or even one in shell pink....hmmmm???

Go ahead.

Open it.

You know you want to.

You can always tape the box back up. She'll never know, and we won't tell. Honest.

Go ahead.

Do it.

DO IT!
