So, I'm trying to figure out how a greenish color could be called Heinz, when the wife takes a look and says it looks like Heinz Relish!
As in finely chopped sweet pickles.

It's actually a 3-piece. I own the bass and I was fooled, too. It's matched very well.

Funny, you mention that. When I was shopping for this bass, I was also considering a natural f'less Sterling on Ebay. I actually preferred that bass because I thought I'd get sick of the trans green. I bid on the Ebay bass, but lost to some guy in North Carolina that owns a lot of lefty MM basses. :) So I got stuck with the baby poop green.

I'm still wondering if we have the full story about the trans green. I mean, was that intentional? Did a disguntled employee drop some yellow in the trans green vat? An April Fools joke?

I mean, if straight green basses don't sell, why, oh, why did yellow get added to the green? :D

Wow, what a nice job!
Doesn't matter, appearance/matching grain etc. is important to me but my favorite SR4 happens to be a 3-piece '92!!

anyone noticed Heinz looks less - well less Heinz coloured - on Strummer's avatar - is it photoshop or is Heinz green just not photogenic from certain angles :D

Heinz is a color horribly difficlut to photograph, I think the most correct images are the ones Jack took way back, but the one in my avatar is all messed up in photoshop, while the one jack published here earlier with me and Heinz has a white balance making the color untrue.

Yeh, I thought my 01 stingray was a one piece body for years then I looked close enough to finally notice that it was in fact 3 pieces, increadibly fine work if you ask me.
