I have a Ernie Ball 100th Anniversary NAMM show edition that I got brand new when they came out. I played it a bit, put it back in the case, and there it sat for the last 8 years. I had quit playing right after I got it for a number of reasons beyond my control (long story). Anyway, I'm back to playing for the last 4 months or so, shedding for several hours a day with great results. I just broke out the MM yesterday and set it up. I've been playing it some, but just right off the bat, I think I liked my old 70's MM with a wood neck better. I dunno, maybe it's just a matter of getting used to the sound of a graphite neck, and there are advantages to them. I NEED to have a Music Man Stingray, but I'm just in the mulling over whether to sell this one or not based on whether I come to like the whole graphite sound or not kind of stage right now. I would really love to know the value of this very rare, mint condition bass whether I decide to hold on to it or not. Anybody out there have some solid info on this? Thanks in advance! P.S. I'm new to this forum as of today, and I think the Stingray is one of the 3 most important basses ever, if not the ONLY 3! That includes a Jazz and a P by the way.
