I finally saw a 30th Anniversary Stingray in the flesh this past weekend. The crimson stain looks so much better in person than it does pictured (and even then, it looks good).

However, that got me thinking: the 30th is a mahogany body and so are the new Big Als. A crimson stain would look great on a Big Al! Am I right people?

Yes, and I think this is probably in the "keep dreaming" camp.

That finish first showed up on a Bongo, actually. A one off that *I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT BUT LIKE AN IDIOT I WASN'T PAYING ATTENTION!* :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
