I finally saw a 30th Anniversary Stingray in the flesh this past weekend. The crimson stain looks so much better in person than it does pictured (and even then, it looks good).

However, that got me thinking: the 30th is a mahogany body and so are the new Big Als. A crimson stain would look great on a Big Al! Am I right people?

Now that I think about it, it is similar in colour to Rolls Burgundy, except that for that it is not transparent.

Not really, they're not that close. Rolls has more brown in it than the crimson.
