So, after a month of looking for another place for a loan, I secured one through a credit union. The rate was higher, but at least they went for it. I closed on my condo today and am moving out west again on the 29th. Hallelujah! What a month.

I totally understand why people say buying a place is one of the most stressful things. I lost about 12 pounds in the process and my already alien arms look even skinnier now. Soon, I'll be throwing down tamales like jelly beans, so I should fatten back up in no time. It was a scary week throwing down the down payment and seeing my saving account dwindle by two-thirds.

Thanks for all the support guys. On top of the whole condo thing, I'm even seeing a girl now. Seriously, what a life changing month and it ain't close to over. We're pretty nuts about each other and at 38, that feels pretty good. Now I'm officially in the car market, so that search begins tomorrow.
