In the past when I have smoked things I like to describe it as:
It's so good I would slap my litter sister for another piece.

This qualifies

I think my little sister says:
It's so good that if NorM tries to slap me I will shoot him.

To keep the peace in my family we just have to be sure to smoke (cook) enough for everybody.

That picture made me hungry.
Please don't tell my sister we are cooking. :)

Cool!

I've used my grill every weekend since March now (Rain or shine!) I even do a load of veggie dishes on it- You guys in the states sure like BIG cuts though huh?

Will there be a self-roast option for roasted maple??? - you can do your own on your grill!!!!

I'm off to the bigpoppasmokers store... fancy me an appron and some sauces, I don't think the shipping on a grill to the UK would be do-able!!:D - have you got a UK distributor BP? - mybe John can bring some over on the next tour!!

Is there something along the lines of an entry level model, something in the $500-$600 range that doesn't take much grilling expertise? My wife has been bugging me to buy a grill for years, but I've been hesitant because I'm not sure how much we'll really use it. I'd like to make sure we're making good use of it before splurging on a higher end model.

Check out the website, it has lots of models, there is one on there in that price range I am considering, the shipping gets it a little out of my budget though. Still considering it though:) Definately must get some sauces and shirts.

Thanks Bp - Order coming your way, just briquettes, lump is in the UK but no sold supplies in my backwater part of the world!!!

That's because you live in the middle of nowhere!!

Lumpwood just fine in my neck of the woods, I can bring you some up, we're up your way in June.

So many options, so much confusion. It's one of those things where I wonder if I should wait another year until I can afford the higher end models, or with my inexperience will the features of the nicer models be lost on me?

I also worry about my ability to keep my weight down with a such a device in the backyard.:D
