3 Europeans teams and 1 south American in semi final better than the previous one where only 4 Europeans teams where at that stage.

I'd like to see a Spain Netherlands final though Germans are playing extremely and deserve the title but they already have 3 stars on their jersey and Uruguay 2. I'd like to see a brand new winner :cool:

Finally, I'm sober :D

This feels sort of unreal...even if you ARE German, like I am. I'm very much looking forward to the match on Wednesday. And you know what? I have predicted Spain to be World Champion...and I am not too sure about that right now ;)

Never seen the German play this well in years.
I predict an all European final: Germany vs Holland

German vs Holland final, I'm sticking to my prediction.

What a great World Cup so far, now if we can get rid of those damn voovoozuelas

okay, I applied some counter-testing with a naked snail called Pedro on my backyard terrace. I put up some German and some Spanish roses and waited overnight for what would happen...

Unfortunately Pedro had finished up both of them overnight, so what is that supposed to mean ? ;)

...and the German Shepherd of our neighbour peed on the Spanish carpet...I take that as a sign :D :D :D

I can't wait! xD To me this will be more important than the final.

BTW Uruguay played a hell of a match, with some key players missing. I was cheering for them :(

Two great goals, why couldn't Forlan produce that form when he was playing for Man Utd? Germany for me tonight, and I think they can go all the way.

Great start, rest of first half was terrible. Second half was much better but got a little hairy in the end. All good though :). According to Paul, the squid they have predict matches, Spain will win tonight. I'm personally rooting for the germans later this evening. See ya sunday neighbors ;)

Congrats Netherlands...well deserved even though they got a little nervous towards the end, very open match with the better luck on the dutch side...who would've thought Uruguay would play such a great WC? With the Netherlands you know they'll always had great players and lots of potential...this time with the right tactics they deserve every bit of their success so far.

Spain will be a tough opponent, surely one of the best teams at the moment and to be honest I'm not sure what to expect of our team...the last two matches really took the whole nation by surprise...I mean it's hard enough already to kick out England and Argentina but the way they did it...really felt a bit unreal.

After the quarterfinal we had some nice argentinian beef on the grill so it should be Paella after the match today...reserved a place for Paul in the pan already...:)
