I haven't been nice to you, have I? If I was, I was drunk and you begin to seem normal when I'm like that.

I want to try one, too, although I think I'll be just another "Ben In The Headlights". I kind of have all these different basses that I use to get basically the same tone.

There's something wrong with me.

well there is something wrong with you...but it has nothing to do with basses!

Guys....There are three banks....two are controlled by a five way....the tone control is push pull to switch betweek banks the third bank is programmable and is a simple switch that has the possiblity of 16 settings. everything from that switch can be assigned to any position on the five way in less than 5 seconds. When you load your settings innto the gamechanger web communtity you just click and in 5 seconds you bass is re wired. You can exchange patches with the world including Tony, Dave Randy Jackson Craig young.....

Ha! Good one!

I love the idea of versatility, but I am similar to Jack in that I usually use a couple of sounds per bass. I will definitely check it out though.

Yeah I love my 25 th but I have found a few tones I love and stick to them live! It's a different beast in the studio!
I would love tocheck it out but it will be a long time till I see one here. Mind you iwill be in London early next year so hoping to see one there !

Will it be able to save the setting to a local laptop without web access and just load those settings into your gamechanger? I don't always have access to the web and may want to have a 'library' of settings available on my local machine.

Thanks,

--Ant

p.s. would be cool to have the settings library on a thumb drive and just load in what I need from there - oh, boy getting crazy!!!

One of the benefits of the design, is that there is no mandatory wiring scheme....meaning, even if the instrument can hold thousands of tones, that doesn't mean they all have to be loaded at once. You can load every bank with only 1 tone if you want, which means no matter what switch you press, flip, etc....you always have your tone! It's your instrument, you can make it as complex or as simple as you want!

Very cool.

Question, does the 20 second hold down reset only the current switch position back to factory setting, the bank, or entire system?

Don't know when I will be able to afford one but would hate to get it all setup and then undo it all.

I guess it will come with a manual or CD with PDF files :)

Thanks,

This was simply an amazing trip! We benefitted greatly from both Dave and Steve's response, reaction, and recommendations on The Game Changer. Thanks guys! It was awesome watching them both utilize the instrument in ways WE haven't even thought up yet...that is the power of The Game Changer...the control is all yours, no boundaries! Looking forward to the next step....

I feel like Captain Planet.
