I heard those Roland Cube amps sound pretty good.
The HD400 is not just a pedal board. It's an amp modeler and effects unit. The main reason I suggested it is that it has a headphone output jack which will allow to PRACTICE.
I also suggested this device based on your other posts where you stated you would hate to spend money now to then have to sell whatever you bought once you got a Mark V.
Thing is, you will need effects to get those JP sounds you love, not just a Mark V and an EBMM JP. So why not start now and get a unit that had effects and amp modeling so you can start practicing now, but will also be useful to you once you have a Mark V.
