Let me tell you about the whole 'girl' thing. My wife pulled out a short bat on 2 good sized guys who where going to go after this other lady. Mrs. AntMan was ready to ROCK. They saw her determination not to allow the other lady or herself be victimized and backed off. So, if I have to use my wife as an example of 'girl' then any bass in the EBMM line is a great match
The ladies Rock and don't forget it

If you were to hit the guitarist in the head with your Sterling, I'll bet it would feel about the same as a Stingray.
Not that you should do this, of course. There are lots of other brands that will do for that job.

from a transplanted guitar player, the sterling was the easiest bass to get into and still get the "sound" without the added size.

That "girl's bass" thing made me laugh
I could get the same attacks about my JPs with this little shape and "cute" colors ^^
My girlfriend use to tickle me saying that my guitars are ugly and not full size, but you know how it is when couples irritates each other for fun
Thought there is no sexism in this topic, I wanted to say I'm the only man in the band I play, and I confirm that girls rocks hard !
We play punk, rock, progressive and metal, they have the mojo and I feel so lucky XD

drT - You are referring to Divi Roxx (Beyonce) and Rhonda Smith (Prince) if memory serves me right. Rhonda is now kicking it with Jeff Beck!

Last time I saw Jeff Beck (at Montreux 2009), his bass player was Tal Wilkenfield. Amazing player. Check her out on YouTube.

In my opinion, the Sterling is no more a girls' bass than a Fender J-Bass. Does anybody remember what kind of bass Sandy Horne of the Spoons plays?
