The trans black one is HOT but a bit outside my budget.
If I go Reflex, I'm goin' Goldtop with the rosewood board. Like a classic Les Paul turned on it's head.

Two great guitars to choose from. I would personally go for the HH AL myself, as I really like the fatness of the mahog and rosewood neck and the in between positions. But the reflex is also a really awesome machine. Whatever works and fits best for you really.

Thinking I'm going with the Reflex... I strongly considered waiting for the GameChanger, but in all actuality I would probably only use the 10 sounds already present on the standard Reflex anyway, so the extra cost just isn't justified for me.

Well the line of EB uitars just about covers everyones needs, and their are a ton of guys who love that thin fast neck on the JP and BP says it is the best selling model so I guess more prefer that neck shape than those who do not. I own one but the neck is not for me though everything else on it is, which just means unless they do one with a chunkier neck I will not own another. I have a 25th and it is everything you could hope for and I can see myself owning another-Reflex. The EVH/Axis is my #1 Ball guitar of which I own quite a few and never was interested in a AL. But the moment I saw it in the HH configuration with that RW neck ( I know I said this 100 times lol) it was like getting hit by lightning and just saw the guitar in a whole different light. I had to track one down to play to make sure I liked the feel and the neck and I could not of made it more to my liking if I could of had a custom model made. This is by far my new baby and I am just waiting for my RM/BS one to arrive, but I can say I will back it up with at least two more as I know I have found my new #1 ax. I do not believe it will look small on you since I am the same height and 40 pounds heavier than you (no belly on me lol) and I never had anyone say an Axis looked small on me though I understand your concern as I have read guys who are 6'3 or taller have a bit of an issue. But checkout Jamie Humphries who is tall and has long arms and huge hands wail on his Axis which is his favorite model and it looks fine on him. Bottom line get the AL HH!

AL HH all the way. Awesome guitar capable different tones. The two inner coils produces some awesome tones!!

OK late to respond and well looks like you have choosen the Reflex and well good choice but HH AL would be my vote, especially based on your criteria, now if you are doing rflex get one of the limited GC specials, emerald green, amethyst, trans black, trans blue and I know where one is in quilt nat with maple board the thing is awesome.

I'm a little late also but just wanted to give my 2 cents.I'd go for a reflex tremolo w/piezo. The al's a great guitar but since the reflex and the morse you owned before share similar attributes i.e. 12" radius,nut and heel width etc plus no piezo option on the AL HH it would be a good fit imho.

Is the Reflex available with Piezo? I know the GameChanger is pictured with one, but I'm not aware of a Reflex w/Piezo config currently...
If I could get a Reflex Trem w/Piezo, the decision is easy.
Otherwise... My mind changes by the day....
