1) my other, more traditional basses, feel clumsy and awkward in comparison
2) it makes me feel like my rig isn't doing the bass justice
3) as a result of #2 my recently evaporated bass GAS has been replaced by amp GAS
just finishing up the 3rd of a set of demos I was asked to record - the Bongo is kicking much butt!! Haven't pulled out the 'safety net' recording bass once. There is a great depth or timbre to the tone of the Bongo recorded that is chewy and full without being a spectrum hog or woofy.... the best bass I have owned so far....
btw any medium-low power smallish head suggestions? Looking at a Markbass LM II and a couple other similar models.....(300W = PLENTY for me - any room over 80ppl has PA)
