aint she sweet bro??? pretty widely hailed as the holy grail of all 2trk mastering decks. this is an ampex 300 tape transport with 351 tube stereo electronics. made circa 1953-1955(b.c.b.p.) it is the exact same model tape machine used to record and or mix down most of the classic records from the mid 50's till early 70's. ray charles , miles davis (both live to 2 tracks, no overdubs), the beatles (sgt pepper had a couple punch ins, im pretty sure), zepplin, richard marx (just the ballads), motown, stax, and every other form of non-80's turned into non-country music i tend to worship at the alter of... they all hit this circuit in route to our eardrums. i cant help but wonder what jack would sound like through it. im guessing ...kinda like richard marx but with a longer rat tail on his mullet. perfect. just the sound im goin for!!

Oh, ...now it's visible :D ..., ha, ha... just 5-6 years ago we were still using similar tape recorders at my job, famous Revox B-77! :p

But since 1998. we switched to digital recording and it's pretty boring now...

You'd buy what, the tape recorder or the Craig worship thing? I say we split, you get the tape machine and I get Mr Sunglasses:)
Hey hey, not so fast - they are clearly meant to be together!
You go ahead and I get visiting rights, deal?
