Anyone get theirs or hear from their GC rep yet? Every time my phone rings I eagerly look at the caller ID hoping it's them telling me that my order is in. I'm not good at waiting for things like this.

My GC rep just confirmed that my two have been shipped from the allocation center and should be arriving at the store for me any day now. Woot!

I really hope they are not making a second run of these.. Kinda takes away from the whole "limited edition" thing. Reminiscent of some competing brands' business model..

Sounds like they are. A bit unfortunate but they said from the onset that it was a possibility. If so, it doesn't diminish my enthusiasm for the guitars but I might have waited to order one of the two I am getting just to spread out the credit card bill a bit. No biggie though, again, it was suggested as a possibility and we take our chances.

You hope they don't make more of them? Really?

From the onset they said this was a special GC order, totally up to them how many they wanted to order. If it's a good seller and GC orders more, I'd say that's good for everyone- consumers, GC and EBMM.

perhaps but if they are going to be a regular stocked item at gc, i probably would not have bought one so quick, nevermind at full retail price (and not able to use my guitar center mailer coupon either).

Just a minor beef.. Still looking forward to getting mine in.

Yep me too, do that then I am in, Green Quilt, maple fretboard, and well prefer nat HS but matching would work

I'd take almost any color in a hard tail. I do have my preference,though: Green,Purple,Pink, Blue, Natural........

I gave up on asking for a hardtail Axis to be produced. It just isn't in the stars. I would buy several. Definitely a green and blue.
