Beautiful...fantastic...I love it!!! The pop music world needs far more of this kind of expressive and creative playing.

I remember growing up in the 70s and it seemed normal to have groovy bass lines in popular music. What the hell happened between then and now?!

i used bongowood on that one (a custom bigal5sss), thru a markbass/svt into a 15", split with a radial jensen di. bongo wood was passive, all buttons down. played w a pick, using a mb compressore. then muted in the mix so they could get it to sound as much like karaoke as humanly possible.

Wow great stuff, Craig. Love the bass parts.

On the Idol chicky one, at the end of the track where the other tracks cut you get a second or two of a slide down on the bass - the growl on that Big Al sounds awesome.

that does cross my mind from time to time, heheheheh. but at least they have the fancy mohawk haircuts to distract from their playings. jack rocks the "mullet over".
