Cobalt and Randy...Yeah Baby

Do any of you have a quick explanation of the diff between Power and Regular? Is it just gauge?

Each of the Power Slinky strings is 5mm thicker than Regular.

They have all the Cobalt strings info here (this is for the Bass strings). You just have to click on the picture of each string pack to see the gauge of each one:

It'll be interesting to see if the cobalts become the "stock" string on new basses. I'm very excited to try them out on my "roundwound" Bongo.

I would guess they had a 2007 ltd ed neck that was unfinished, and they grabbed that neck when they built his bass. It's not like he ordered it from Guitar Center.
