Do any of you have a quick explanation of the diff between Power and Regular? Is it just gauge?

It'll be interesting to see if the cobalts become the "stock" string on new basses. I'm very excited to try them out on my "roundwound" Bongo.

I wonder whether they'll offer B-strings individually to combine with your favourite gauge? (Unless it's 45/65/80/100) anyway...)

I would guess they had a 2007 ltd ed neck that was unfinished, and they grabbed that neck when they built his bass. It's not like he ordered it from Guitar Center. :D

both of he basses in the video are our r and d stash...he liked the blue color so much that we made him one with white knobs and white pickup covers Its the one he played on leno and our party last week...Randy loves the bongo

I would buy a similar bongo if it ever became available, and put cobalt strings on of course.
