There are some good points here, I think the fact that he used a Sterling neck (no offense here) instead of a true Axis is what had my eyebrows really raised.

finding a used Axis or EVH neck is about as easy as finding a $5000 1959 Les Paul Burst

It's a green EVH body with a Sterling neck (refinished to look like an EVH neck), different trem, pickups, etc. Looks like a nice job but only the body is original.

My only problem when people do these sorts of things is the decal. Those logos are EBMM trademarks, and it's not kosher to use them. When the fool parts ways with his money down the line, it will be because he bought an EBMM knock-off, and that hurts the brand.

True, however the fake decals are too small and look so obviously fake.

It pretty obvious the seller revived this EVH body with no intentions of passing it off as a real EVH. I think its a great project to use a body that might have just sat under a bed for the next 20 yrs!

$2000...well...a real Green EVH would run you $7000....so what is the lesser of 2 evils?????

I think its an honest revival of a great guitar...he used a Gotoh trem, Dimarzio pups....i bet it ROCKS!!!

Come on guys .... real green ones are NOT $7K. The last five that I have seen sell have been in the $3200 - $4500 Range.

"The seller"? C'mon Brent, that's you. This whole thread talks about being on the level about the guitar, and now you're trying to anonymously pitch your guitar? Not cool.

I was happy to let this run its course, but I think its done.
