Guys, do you notice the Fearfuls really adding to the Bongo there? I was considering one, seems like the Bongo has a ton of low end that my GK NEO 412 rolls off a bit.

I'm working towards it. A full review of it will come after next Wednesday. The tone of this monster is radically different from Bongos as I remember it and the Reflex 5 HH that I have. Everyone was floored at practice this past Wednesday (it was delivered right as I went out the door of my house).

Just got a call from my dealer. My bass has been shipped and on its way to the dealer's main store in Toronto and then they'll have to ship it to Calgary. So, it'll be another LONG two or three weeks wait - hopefully not more than that.

EBMM typically doesn't release production numbers. My request to see if my Bongo 6 HS was a one-and-only was turned down.

My Bongo came in today. It looks like the others and weighs 9lbs.
The first thing I did after plucking it a little was take off the pg to see how it would look with clear.
I think colored would look better to give it more contrast.
I'm looking at different pg combos and will post some pics soon.

Man - part of me wishes I had gone with a Bongo, they just look so daggum purdy. I think my SR5 HS will do just fine, though

I keep eyeing that Sterling HH with total want! I'd have to sell my current Sterling HH which was new in 09... trying to justify!! ha ha
