Here are some shots of my newly acquired trans black EVH. There are more dings on the guitar than I usually stand for (its a shame someone beat the hell out of this nice top), but the top is still so nice, and the guitar sounds so good, I figure I have to deal with the player wear and abuse. Also, I plan on having the frets replaced by EBMM, hopefully before their Xmas break!

Ha! I actually like the faded black into green/brownish. In the natural light, it looks more black and brown.

Nah, I'm just kidding...there is a backstory about your evh that you may not know about. I sold that one to someone as a trans black, and he somehow got confused and thought it was trans green. Nope, tis black as the ace of spades. Nice evh - I played her every day I owned her.

I knew she looked familiar. All the dings in just the right spots. If you ever tire of her, I'd love to buy her from you.

Get out! YOU'RE the guy who played the hell out of this guitar? Small world. When did you sell it?

I sold it about six or eight months ago. But, it was well played before me. Islandboy owned her for a while. I'll send you a private message.

Yeah I like flame too - seems to reflect the classic look of the early Les Pauls.

Yeah, that's what struck me about this guitar - it looks alive, thanks to the flames changing width and direction. I'm not into PRS 10 top style straight flames!

This is the photo that made me want to buy the guitar, a little blurry, but great shot!

Looks beautiful.

I had an Axis in that finish (had an almost brownish hue in with the black) and it was my main guitar for a few years. I foolishly sold it when I moved onto JP6's.

Thanks. Did the Axis fade much? I read EBMM fixed the fading issue with the Axis.
