I have #26136 it was originally white, but its a natural finish now. I have never met a bass that plays better in over 15years. I think I need to change the pots out now and the jack. Any help on what ones I should get would be great. Can I buy a set to switch them all out?

My SR5 has serial number E48432. Somewhere (?) I saw two numbers that mine falls between. That would indicate the bass was born in August 2005. I would love to know if this is correct.

Awesome instrument. I sold my too-polite Ken Smith and bought this. I can dial up any tone I want. Very powerful bass.

I have a musicman sting ray bass, made in san luis obispo calitfornia...............the serial # is - 303107.............could someone tell me the dob ?( date of birth ) and if possible,an estimate of current value...............-: Thank you

303107 doesn't exist in our databese, however-
B03107 is a black StingRay-4 H with a rosewood fretboard, DOB: 04/12/96.
Unfortunately, we don't deal in the used market, and can't give you an estimate as to the value of the bass. We recommend checking ebay for similar instruments to compare pricing.

Soulkeeper,
E07807 can't be found in our database, please check again and re-post.
Ok, it was a Stingray EX assembled in Japan, so I guess it figures, sorry, and I didn't buy it anyway. What I did buy however was a Bongo F21807, can you tell me about that instead? :) And do you know how many pieces of wood (basswood?) the body is made of?

Hello! Can you tell me some info on a bass I'm interested in purchasing? It's a MM Sterling SN# F25568. Looking for DOB, etc. and a verification on the nut width if possible. Current owner isn't sure and I'm looking for a 38mm. Thanks in advance!

You're right, this isn't a SR Classic- This is a 2EQ, string-through SR4 w/ Vintage White finish. The only difference between the two is that a classic has a finished neck. This is actually quite a rare bass, built for artist relations.

He said that other serial number was a typo. Try F25528 and see what it gives you. With that 38.1mm nut this may be my dream bass! :D
