First post on the forum, I apologize, I didn't realize how awesome the community was until today.

I have my sights on a 2007 BFR 7 string with a Walnut Burst for about $1950.00. Can anyone confirm if that is a good price and if I should expect it to hold its value for the foreseeable future? It is in excellent condition with only a couple tiny blemishes. I appreciate any opinions/facts offered.

Discontinued color. Sounds like a good deal for a used BFR in that condition. Usually you might find a BFR for a few hundred more, since they street around 3k new.

Thanks a lot for the info Lou. Thats just what I was looking for. I'm pretty excited... This will be my first EBMM and my first 7 string.. Been playing guitar for a long while, but always Pauls and Strats... Ready for something fresh.

I can't stand the JP, LOL

The JP is a swiss army knife. Not much more you could do to make it better except add a midi/synth pickup.

Proud to say I have never owned a LP or Strat. Been playing since 1985 myself.

F***! yes man, it's an awesome price for a discontinued finish BFR!
Just to be curious, since it's from 2007, I guess that it has a matched headstock, right?
I had one myself a couple years ago, but had to sell collect some cash..I sincerely regret that choice I had to take..

That's a fantastic price, especially for a BFR. I see regular loaded JP7s in non-discontinued finishes going for an equal or higher price regularly on every forum I'm on.

Thanks! Just got it in the mail this morning. Totally stoked! Haven't even unboxed it yet. Will take pictures as soon as I get home from work and post!

Here are some pictures: j2bax's uploaded images - Imgur

One fairly serious gouge in the headstock but pretty mint other than that... Missing the back cover. If anyone knows where I can order one of those, that would be awesome!

Oh, no.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you will now have to pay a terrible price! All those future balls that you will end up buying. You know not what you have come into.
