That looks like amp information if I'm not mistaken... Unfortunately we do not have information regarding the amplifiers. They were discontinued when Ernie Ball acquired Music Man in 1984.

That is really interesting, because now the bass has frets. Do you have any more detail on bass SN 50552 such as body wood, pickup type and also whether the fret job was something done at a later point in the factory or by a third party? Thank you so much for all of your help in this. There seems to be a really interesting history around this bass that makes it truly unique and one of kind.

The pickup should be alnico. We would not install frets later at the factory.

I would like to know the build date, woods and original colour of this stingray: 07277

Is there a letter preceding the 5 digits? That number by itself yields no information in the database.

I'd like to know the build date and any other available info on the following bass:

Stingray 5, Honeburst, white pickguard, Maple/Maple neck.

March 8th, 1991... the body is probably alder or ash. The pickup should be ceramic.
