Holy cow, the 112 DR50 weighs in at just under 12 kg (which is a hair less than my 15W 110 Laney) and the 212 weighs in at less than 20 kg!

Living in Paris, I go to 90% of my gigs on the metro. This might just be the answer to the power-volume-portability question I've been looking for for so long. I am SUPER excited!

All we need now are prices?

.... and some more details about the dedicated gain pedal?

(Hopefully if (Italian) Markbass say were to supply S & T in the UK as distributors,, then there would be less import duty/taxes to pay than if they were to come from the US. Not wishing to get my knuckles rapped as I'm outside my comfort zone,I'll shadup now!!)

I'm *dying* to test one out and throw some money at it (probably the 2x12)

Big Poppa - give us some clues here! Are these automatically going to be carried by the Music Man guitar/bass stocking dealers, or is this a separate distribution deal that will have to be worked out to build the channel for them?

Still hopping foot to foot here!!! :)

If I understand well, the amps are made in Italy by MarkBass ?
Does that mean that for the first time in human history, a Music Man product will be cheaper in Europe than in US ????

Did I miss something(sound demo). Brian & Dudley did a fantastic job with the description, but I would love to hear a sound clip. Any links to that?

Cool! It's interesting that the new components save so much weight. My old 1981 112 RD50 had to weigh close to 50 lbs as it had that optional heavy-duty EV speaker in it (which was just the way my old dealer ordered all their MM amps back then).

MarkBass/DVMark is famous for using neo speakers and switching solid state power supplies instead of transformers. Those two parts save a lot of weight already. And if you use the right wood for the cabinets or combos you save more weight.
