My guess is that they'll be cheaper in the US. The lack of sales tax will be a big part of that.

It varies state to state, but here in CA we pay 9% sales tax.

... there is already a MM amp forum. They have been singing the praises of this "little treasures" for many years now. You can get some great info over there - many pictures posted on there too

The old amps didn't have a send return loop. As the new ones are faithfull reproductions of the old ones I would wager not.

The 50W can be a killer product if the price is right. Light and powerful at the same time ! I am getting too old for the 4x12" !!

Man, I got to hand it to BP, that is a "tough" ring to throw your hat into!!!!

However, Musicman is an amp that just "hits" the spot with so many guitarists. I think the key is to see how the younger generation of players perceive this amp and where it can take them.

I truly think it's going to be a winner!

The RD50 is hard to find and they fetch premium prices.
I'll be getting an RD50 model to complement my existing one - will be great to run those two in tandem!!!

My other MM amp - the RP65 has two jacks on the front. Without going into it here, you can see what these jacks do on this thread on the MM amp forum.

Now I can't say whether the new amps will have this (the original RD50 doesn't have them).

Now Albert Lee had a 70th celebration this year, and BP has a BB coming up next year (Big Birthday) so maybe a *0th LE model for 2015 in White Pinwall known as a BP *0 112 .

I'm liking the look & spec of that 4x12. Ticks a lot of boxes for me, i.e. works in stereo and is lightweight (portable).
